Sharon Robertson Harrison

SAVANNAH – In memory of Sharon Robertson Harrison, loving wife, mother, and friend, we announce the passing of this wonderful woman after a long battle with cancer.
Sharon was born in Savannah on May 1, 1947. Growing up in Savannah, daughter of Patricia Tuten Robertson and Gilbert Aloysious Robertson, she attended St. Vincent's Academy, class of 1965, and was graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1968. She has since been a lifelong employee of St. Joseph's Hospital where she served as Nurse Manager of Orthopedics as well as Sisters of Mercy Associate. She was patient care representative at St. Joseph's/Candler for the past ten years. She received the prestigious McCauley Award in 2005 and a "Making the Difference" award in 2010 for her loyal dedication and unwavering commitment to St. Joseph's/Candler.
She leaves behind a loving husband, Ed Harrison; three caring daughters, Leigh Stutzman husband Todd, Amanda Gandy husband Jamie, and Erin Considine husband Brad; two precious granddaughters, Isabel Considine and Lily Gandy; and a loving brother, John Jackie; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. There will be a Vigil Service at 6:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
